DexPaprika tracks 35 blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, Base, BNB Chain (BSC), Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, HyperEVM, Sui, Tron, Monad, Plasma, and more. Each chain page shows all pools and DEX protocols operating on that network.

How often is DexPaprika data updated?

A pool is re-indexed when a swap moves it, not on a fixed block tick, so a pool nobody trades has nothing new to report. On the free tier the figures served are at most 15 seconds old; Pro serves them with no added delay. The TV Board and streaming endpoints push each update over Server-Sent Events as it happens.

Is DexPaprika free to use?

Yes. Browsing the website, using the search, and calling the public REST API are all free. No signup or API key is required for the public endpoints. See https://docs.dexpaprika.com/introduction for details.

Can AI agents use DexPaprika?

Yes. DexPaprika publishes an A2A Agent Card, MCP discovery document, WebMCP manifest, OpenAPI spec, and llms.txt. Every page supports Accept: text/markdown content negotiation so agents can fetch Markdown versions of the same content. A local MCP server is published on npm as dexpaprika-mcp (npx dexpaprika-mcp), and a hosted one runs at https://mcp.dexpaprika.com.

What is a liquidity pool?

A liquidity pool is a smart contract holding two or more tokens that enables decentralized trading. Traders swap against the pool rather than against another user, and the pool price adjusts based on the constant-product or weighted formula of the underlying DEX protocol (Uniswap V2/V3, Curve, Balancer, etc.).

What does DEX stand for?

DEX stands for Decentralized Exchange — a peer-to-peer crypto trading venue running as smart contracts on a blockchain. Unlike centralized exchanges (CEXes), DEXes do not custody user funds; traders swap from their own wallets.
