Nodewaves is a Web3 health and wellness platform developed by blockchain and healthcare professionals with a focus on promoting wellness. The platform aims to foster an environment that encourages users to make healthy lifestyle choices, learn self-care, and manage their personal health data. Utilizing blockchain technology and a unique Proof of Action distribution algorithm, Nodewaves emphasizes personal accountability and transforms self-care into a rewarding activity. Central to the Nodewaves ecosystem are Nodewaves Nodes. These nodes validate transactions, earn daily distributions of the native currency, and contribute to governance within the blockchain. Community members can become Node NFT Owners by acquiring node licenses, thereby actively participating in the platform. The integration of Nodewaves and its native utility token creates an engaging experience known as Nodewaverse. The token rewards users for ethical behavior within the ecosystem and supports the operation of Node NFTs. The total supply of NWS is capped at 10 billion tokens, with half allocated to Node NFT Owners and other stakeholders during the first year. Each subsequent year will see a reduction in the amount of NWS issued, halving the previous year’s allocation. The annual points accrual commenced on April 16, 2023, marking the beginning of these halvings. Becoming a Node NFT Owner also grants membership in the Node Network Distributed Governance Framework (DGF), which is responsible for coordinating the blockchain.
