EUROe is a fully fiat-backed stablecoin designed to mirror the value of the Euro, issued by Membrane Finance. This stablecoin is secured by a minimum of 102% in euro-denominated assets, ensuring that each EUROe can be redeemed for one fiat Euro by Membrane Finance clients. As a regulated financial instrument, EUROe operates under strict EU regulations and is classified as e-money. The supply of EUROe is dynamic, changing as new tokens are issued or existing ones are redeemed by clients of Membrane Finance. Currently, there are no fees associated with the issuance or redemption of EUROe, which allows companies and corporate entities to easily access these services by becoming clients of Membrane Finance. Founded in 2021 by Juha Viitala, Membrane Finance is the organization behind EUROe. The token is supported by Equilibrium, a key player in blockchain infrastructure development, and has received funding from Maki.vc, a venture capital firm specializing in seed-stage investments. EUROe can be traded on an expanding selection of decentralized exchanges, as well as directly through Membrane Finance, providing users with flexible options for acquisition and use. This stablecoin aims to facilitate seamless transactions within the digital economy while maintaining a stable value aligned with the Euro.
