A German Shepherd's service dog named Ryker’s career came to an end for the sweetest reason imaginable: he simply couldn't let go of his beloved stuffed elephant. Although he showed great promise during training, his attachment to the toy was so strong that he struggled to meet the strict standards required of a service dog. Rather than leaving it behind, he chose to keep his best friend close by. He may not have earned his service dog certification, but he definitely won over the internet. Sometimes a stuffed elephant is just too important to leave behind.
