You'd help new people, write threads, answer questions, and bring friends in. The project grew, and the community grew with it. And somehow it felt like everyone was building the same thing together. Then came the extractive era. Fake communities. Fake engagement. Fake incentives. Over time, many passionate individuals stopped participating.
