About Piggycell
Piggycell is a cryptocurrency that connects real-world phone charging infrastructure with on-chain records and incentives. The token leverages a shared power-bank network in South Korea, with over 14,000 charging stations and more than 100,000 devices. Piggycell enables users to engage with its ecosystem by recording rental, return, and charging events on the blockchain, creating a verifiable dataset for over 4 million paid users.
The ecosystem operates through two main product tracks: Charge-to-Earn and Dominate-to-Earn. Charge-to-Earn rewards users based on their charging activity at Piggycell stations, while Dominate-to-Earn associates physical stations with NFTs that grant users on-chain rewards linked to their usage. Additionally, Piggycell incorporates engagement features such as daily check-ins and referral challenges, all recorded on-chain to provide a seamless user experience.
The PIGGY token serves multiple purposes within the Piggycell ecosystem. It facilitates payments and settlements, provides usage-based incentives for infrastructure-linked NFTs, and allows staking for unlocking features or increasing rewards. Furthermore, PIGGY tokens grant governance rights for certain protocol decisions and help manage user reputations and access to various campaigns.
With a fixed supply of 100 million tokens, the allocation of PIGGY is strategically designed to support the project’s growth and user engagement. Key allocations include 25% for Dominate-to-Earn, 20% for Charge-to-Earn, and 10% for challenges, among others. The token distribution is structured with cliffs and linear vesting schedules to ensure a sustainable rollout.
Piggycell is focused on enhancing liquidity through decentralized exchanges and potential listings on centralized platforms. The project aims to integrate real-world asset analytics and provide user-friendly access for venues hosting charging stations, ensuring both casual and advanced users can benefit from its innovative technology.
