About Autonolas
Autonolas, or OLAS, is a decentralized network that integrates off-chain services such as automation, oracles, and collaborative AI. It provides a versatile framework for the development of these services while establishing a protocol that incentivizes their creation. The unique aspect of Autonolas lies in its ability to operate these services in a co-owned and decentralized manner, making it an innovative player in the blockchain space.
The services offered by Autonolas are particularly suited for the intersection of cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence, allowing for the autonomous execution of complex logic and seamless interaction with both on-chain and off-chain data. A notable application of this technology is Governatooorr, an AI-driven governance delegate designed for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
Founded in the summer of 2022, the Autonolas DAO launched its public token through a liquidity bootstrapping pool in July 2023. Since then, the project has shown consistent growth and is actively expanding its support to additional blockchains, with the ambition of becoming a foundational element of off-chain services across major blockchain networks.
The OLAS token serves as a gateway to the core functionalities of the Autonolas network. Users can stake OLAS to operate off-chain services or lock it in a governance mechanism to participate in decision-making processes that shape the network's future. Additionally, OLAS is integral to a unique developer incentive system designed to expand the range of services within the ecosystem.
Governance participants can enhance contributions to favored services, which are comprised of autonomous agents and their software components, referred to as 'useful code,' by utilizing OLAS for ETH donations. Furthermore, existing token holders have the opportunity to bond liquidity provider shares involving OLAS into the protocol, thereby increasing the liquidity within the network, known as 'useful capital.'
