Universal Store of Value

Universal Store of Value (USV) serves as the foundational token for the Atlas ecosystem. It is uniquely designed to enhance the DeFi landscape by providing intrinsic value through backing by the Atlas treasury. This backing helps establish a rising value, often referred to as "book value," giving USV a stable foundation compared to many other tokens in the DeFi space. The treasury consists of five key components that support the value of USV. First, it includes stablecoins like DAI and Frax, which are essential for minting USV. Second, USV liquidity pool tokens are held by the treasury through barter contracts, ensuring liquidity and stability. Third, an upcoming feature will introduce a Passive Growth portfolio of tokens, optimized using a modified version of Markowitz's Optimal Portfolio Theory, aimed at maximizing returns.
