Universal Store of Value (USV) serves as the foundational token of the Atlas ecosystem, designed to enhance the decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape. Unlike many tokens, USV is uniquely backed by the Atlas treasury, which ensures its intrinsic value continues to rise over time. This backing, often referred to as the "book value," provides a stable and reliable asset for users. The treasury consists of five key components: stablecoins, USV liquidity pool tokens, a passive growth portfolio, partner tokens, and various Atlas layers. Stablecoins such as DAI and Frax are essential for minting USV, creating a solid foundation for value generation. The liquidity pool tokens are secured through barter contracts, contributing to the treasury's assets. Soon, the passive growth portfolio will be enhanced by a management engine that utilizes a modified version of Markowitz's Optimal Portfolio Theory.
