Streaming is not always the cheaper option, and we would rather you knew that up front. On a fast mover like WAVAX a stream delivers about 18 updates a minute, and each one bills as a request, so polling once a minute costs far less. token_price frame is emitted when a swap moves the price, so update frequency follows how actively an asset trades. Busy markets push several times a second; quieter ones can sit still for minutes. The connection stays open either way and costs nothing while it waits.
