Non-Playable Coin (NPC) is a unique blend of a meme coin and an NFT-hybrid designed for the global population. The token draws inspiration from a popular meme that has resonated with audiences since 2018, encapsulated in the motto "I support the current coin." It aims to engage all 8+ billion people on Earth, making it a truly universal project. What sets NPC apart is its innovative design as an ERC20 token. The total supply of NPC corresponds to the world's human population as recorded on July 26, 2023. Each NPC token can be converted into a non-fungible token (NFT) on a 1:1 basis, allowing it to function both as a meme fungible token (MFT) and as an ERC1155 NFT. This dual functionality links two different liquidity markets, enabling more individuals to participate in cultural ownership through NFTs. The project emerged from experiments with NFT automated market makers and a realization that ERC1155 tokens were underutilized. By challenging the traditional limitations of exclusive NFT collections, NPC aims to demonstrate that communities can scale significantly using the ERC1155 standard. The design allows for enhanced liquidity as it bridges the gap between fungible and non-fungible tokens.
