Extra Finance is an innovative protocol designed for leveraged yield farming and lending, operating on the Optimism network. This platform empowers users to create tailored farming strategies or contribute to lending pools in order to earn interest on their deposits. What sets Extra Finance apart is its flexibility. Users can implement customized farming techniques, allowing for a more personalized approach to yield generation. Additionally, the lending pools offer opportunities for users to earn interest, making it an attractive option for those looking to maximize their crypto assets. The project has made significant strides since its inception, launching its testnet on March 23, 2023, followed by the mainnet launch on May 9, 2023. Looking ahead, Extra Finance has a clear roadmap that includes various enhancements. In the third quarter of 2023, the platform plans to integrate CLAMM, introduce one-click yield farming templates, and launch a yield farming simulation and calculation tool. By the fourth quarter, advanced strategy vaults will be released, paving the way for user-to-user yield strategy following in early 2024. Extra Finance utilizes two tokens to facilitate its ecosystem: the utility token and the governance token. The utility token serves to reward liquidity providers through emissions, while the governance token allows holders to participate in the decision-making processes of the protocol. By staking their utility tokens, users can receive governance tokens, enabling them to influence community proposals and help shape the platform's future. Holders of the governance token enjoy several benefits, including APR rewards from protocol fees and token incentives. These rewards are derived from various tokens collected in the treasury, which are redistributed to governance token holders. Additionally, governance token holders can access high-utilization lending pools, unlock up to 4x leverage for yield farming, and actively participate in the on-chain governance of Extra Finance.
